Join our Sibley Nursing Team as a Clinical Coordinator - ED RN!
With its 318 beds, this non-profit, full-service acute care hospital offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic, skilled nursing inpatient services, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.
The Clinical Coordinator - ED RN provides expert patient care and leadership, ensuring safe, efficient, and evidence-based practice. This role manages patient flow, supports staff development, leads process improvements, and serves as a clinical resource to uphold care standards. Working closely with interdisciplinary teams, the coordinator fosters engagement, professional growth, and operational excellence while guiding daily operations and acting as a liaison across departments.

- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
- Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department and/or ICU.
- Minimum of 1 year leadership or project coordination experience preferred.
- Must maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS and any certifications required to provide clinical care in ED/ICU.
- National certification in emergency or critical care nursing or nursing leadership preferred.
