Registered Nurse (RN)|LPN - School Nursing 1:1 Special Needs job at Interim Health Care of Bellevue. Washington DC.

Interim Health Care of Bellevue is urgently hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN) for an immediate position supporting a special needs child in the Seattle School District. This role is perfect for nurses seeking a steady weekday schedule, providing one‑on‑one care to ensure the student’s safety and well‑being during school hours.

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 1:25 PM

• LPN: $34 - $42 per hour
• RN: $41 - $50 per hour

The nurse does not need to ride the bus with the student. The child will be dropped off at school by a parent each morning, and the nurse will receive the student from the parent  the end of the school day, the nurse will hand off the student back to the parent for pick‑up.

• Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide G‑tube care, tracheostomy support, medication administration, and other necessary nursing interventions.
• Document care activities accurately according to school district and healthcare protocols.
• Support school nurse offices if the assigned student is absent.

• Active LPN or RN license in Washington State
• Pediatric nursing experience within the last five years is preferred
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (infants, children, adults)
• Experience with tracheostomy care, tube feeding, and ventilator support.

• Strong communication skills with a patient‑centered approach
• Reliable and adaptable in a school setting
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility up to 50 lbs
