Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner based in Washington, DC. The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including conducting assessments, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and prescribing appropriate treatments. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and healthcare staff, educating patients and their families about treatment plans, and maintaining comprehensive medical records. The position requires delivering high-quality, evidence-based care while adhering to hospital standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in conducting patient assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing treatment plans
  • Strong skills in patient education, communication, and compassionate care
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license and Board Certification
  • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting, preferably in areas related to acute or critical care
  • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and high standards of patient safety
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field
  • Experience with patient-focused care in urban or diverse settings is a plus
