- The Emergency Department is a 62‑bed unit, including resuscitation rooms, fast‑track areas, and specialized spaces for trauma, cardiac emergencies, and stroke.
- Our ED is supported by state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic and treatment facilities, with rapid access to radiology, laboratory, and surgical services.
- The ED is staffed by board‑certified emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, and a highly skilled team of emergency‑trained nurses.

Job SummaryAs a Registered Nurse in our Level I Trauma Center’s Emergency Department, you will be at the forefront of providing critical care to patients with a variety of urgent and life‑threatening medical conditions. Our Emergency Department is known for its fast‑paced environment and its commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and research. You will work alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals to deliver high‑quality care and support to patients and their families during critical times.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a dynamic, challenging emergency department setting.
- Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement care for patients across a wide range of conditions.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient responses to treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and research opportunities.
- BSN or currently enrolled.
- DC RN License, or eligibility.
- At least 2 years of emergency department RN experience.
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
- T NCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification within 1 year of hire.
- Exceptional clinical skills and judgment.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and react effectively in emergency situations.
