Unit
Summary:
The 39‑bed unit is dedicated to providing high‑quality pre/post general surgical care as well as managing the Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. The RN will be responsible for providing patient‑focused nursing care to patients with various surgical needs, including laparoscopic cholecystectomies, tracheostomies, kidney and liver transplants, and trauma patients.
Position Summary:
Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of patient‑centered care provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- BLS certification.
- Current state nursing license.
- Preferred: one year full‑time or three years part‑time experience in an acute care setting.
