District of Columbia – Washington (Main Campus).

Registered nurse in the radiology department with PRN requirements, responsible for patient care within scope of practice. Requires RN license in District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia, and CPR certification.

• Contribute to Magnet re‑designation through professional profile updates and council involvement.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and problem‑solving during patient care.
• Communicate plans of care and advocate for patient needs.
• Escalate issues via the chain of command when necessary.
• Use current hand‑off processes correctly and maintain respectful relationships with ancillary staff.
• Participate in implementing change and support management decisions.

• BSN from an approved nursing school (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (required).
• Registered Nurse license in District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia.
• CPR certification.
• Completed hospital and nursing orientation at Children’s National.
