We invite you to join the Magnet-designated nursing team on Med Star Georgetown University Hospital's C5-2 Pediatrics Unit. This all-private room, 14-bed, mixed General Pediatrics/Pediatric Intensive Care Unit offers an enriching environment where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of pediatric patients. As a General Pediatrics Clinical Nurse on C5-2, you'll have the chance to provide specialized care for a diverse group of patients, including general pediatrics, pediatric neurology, and pediatric oncology patients.
Our team is uniquely supported by the expertise of PICU nurses, allowing for a seamless transition of care across different levels of acuity and opportunities for cross-training to critical care. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team.

- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- At least one year of hospital-based pediatric RN experience required.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
This position has a hiring range of $41.77 - $63.66
