Shift: M-F 9 am - 5 pm

• As a manager, this candidate needs to have flexibility for nights and weekends
• No holiday expectations

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to support the Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW), a 130‑bed, short‑term, acute care hospital providing comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. PIW offers inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs, including specialized treatment for chemical dependency.

• Directs the activities of the nursing staff members, including scheduling the daily nursing tasks for the department and providing guidance on operational procedures and patient care.
• Provides direct patient care, following the nursing process and holistic conceptual framework in the development of nursing care plans.

• DC Licensure.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• At least 5 years of nursing experience within an acute care hospital setting.
• No long‑term care.
• 2 years of Leadership experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.
• Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others’ activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.

• Psych RN experience preferred.
