Make it happen at Hopkins! The Advanced Practice Provider works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive and age-appropriate care to both well and ill patients; educates patients and families, intervenes in acute or chronic illness, coordinates oncologic care between Unity, Sibley and Howard and other providers as appropriate; obtains appropriate patient histories and performs physical examinations.

Other activities are in support of patient/family education, staff education, unit activities, and psychosocial care of patient and family.

Sibley Memorial Hospital is a non‑profit, full service 318‑bed acute care community hospital serving the Washington, DC area. Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopaedic, skilled nursing inpatient services, and a state‑of‑the‑art 24‑hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus, with its new patient tower, is also home to the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center, the Johns Hopkins National Proton Therapy Center, Grand Oaks – an assisted living residence – a medical building with physician offices and an ambulatory surgery and imaging center.

Day shift, 40 hours per week, some weekends, no on call.

• Current Nurse Practitioner or PA license in the District of Columbia.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Family, or Adult‑Gerontology, or PA.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing or as a PA; prior experience as an Oncology Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills in oncology, including knowledge of cancer treatment protocols, symptom management, and patient education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient‑centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

Benefits details:

Salary Range:
Minimum $57.99/hour – Maximum $89.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
