This mission-driven nonprofit is seeking temporary support from a Part-time Development & Events Assistant to provide hands-on support to a collaborative fundraising team during a high-impact spring season. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys event execution, thrives in a team-oriented environment, and wants exposure to donor engagement and nonprofit development work. If you’re detail-focused, flexible, and excited to contribute to a cause-driven organization during a critical fundraising period, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide event support with set-up, take-down, and execution, guest check-in, and any ad hoc day-of needs.
  • Facilitate development initiatives to foster and build membership engagement, including tracking information clearly and accurately.
  • Support the development team with administrative and logistical needs related to fundraising initiatives.
  • Help maintain organized records and documentation to ensure smooth coordination across event-related activities.
  • Pitch in on ad hoc tasks as needed in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Opportunity to support a nationally recognized nonprofit during a flagship fundraising event.
  • Hands-on exposure to development and donor-focused work.
  • Collaborative team environment with clear goals and shared purpose.
  • Short-term temporary assignment ideal for candidates seeking project-based experience.
  • This is part-time role seeking 16 hours per week through mid-April.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Engagement experience. You have supported events previously with at least one year of experience; membership and or fundraising experience will stand out to this nonprofit.
  • Dependable. You follow through, stay organized, and take pride in executing tasks accurately.
  • Adaptable. You’re comfortable adjusting priorities and stepping in where help is needed.
  • Team-minded. You work well alongside others and contribute positively during high-energy events.
  • Ethical. You handle information responsibly and respect confidentiality.
