Work Schedule: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, 35 hours/week, hybrid (2 days onsite/week, flexible)

Their Development team partners with Major Gifts, Annual Giving, Gift Planning, and Philanthropic Partnerships to advance strategic prospect management and donor engagement.
Job DescriptionThe Senior Development Specialist plays a key role in advancing fundraising strategy by managing donor pipelines, portfolios, and relationship strategies. This role partners closely with gift officers and Development leadership to ensure timely prospect movement, accurate reporting, and effective application of prospect management practices. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing prospect pipelines, supporting portfolio strategy, facilitating meetings, and contributing to forecasting and strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary prospect management liaison for Development teams
- Track and monitor donor prospects to ensure timely movement through pipelines
- Facilitate prospect management meetings and document updates in the CRM
- Collaborate with gift officers to develop and execute prospect strategies
- Analyze pipeline health and recommend actions to support fundraising goals
- Support revenue forecasting and reporting based on pipeline and portfolio data
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure consistent data standards
- Lead initiatives to streamline prospect management processes and workflows
- Provide training and guidance to team members on prospect management best practices
- Serve as a bridge between Development and systems teams to operationalize reporting tools and dashboards
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 4–6 years of experience in prospect management, development operations, or fundraising analytics
- Experience supporting fundraising teams and portfolio management within a prospect management framework
- Proficiency with CRM systems (Blackbaud CRM, Salesforce, RENXT) and reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience facilitating meetings and collaborating effectively with stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
