The Senior Content Planning & Development Specialist plays a crucial role in delegating, coordinating, and prioritizing creative marketing projects with internal and external team members. This role involves working directly with the Essentia Marketing Leader, Head of Brand Creative, and the Content Studio team to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope, budget, and brief. The Sr Specialist coordinates with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible with the Content Studio processes and ensures deliverables are on track and accurate in coordination with the brand owners.

This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the brand’s creative marketing efforts.

Key Outputs / Deliverables
  • Demonstrate and practice a thorough understanding of the creative process across all channels.
  • Support the broader Marketing team project management by mapping and preparing for key milestones.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with Marketing and extended internal team members.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project status reports while facilitating regular team meetings to ensure alignment and progress. Additionally, assist in the preparation and coordination of cross-functional brand meetings to support collaborative decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agencies (internal and external), partners, and vendors in the implementation of brand communications.
  • Utilize knowledge of the creative design processes to deliver flawless execution of brand tactics across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of all creative marketing projects.
  • Review creative projects to ensure adherence to the brand and brief.
  • Lead review and approval processes and communicate revision needs to internal team members while maintaining delivery against initial timelines.
  • Execute final file handoff to departments and vendors.
  • Apply working knowledge of industry, brand, government, legal, and regulatory guidelines on all projects.
  • Create and refine best practices and processes for successful project execution (legal review and approval, tools, content management systems).
  • Maintain project tickets in project management tools. Ensure appropriate teams are assigned to projects and manage project timelines with the broader group. Pull monthly/quarterly reports detailing scopes of work completed and forecasted.
  • Assist and collaborate with business owners and Finance Manager to reconcile invoice accuracy year-over-year.
  • Engage and interface with Division and Content Studio teams to build professional relationships; participate in department-wide initiatives.
  • Demonstrate support of management vision, mission, values, and goals.
  • Engage in and practice leadership principles.
Qualifications & Experiences
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of Creative project or account management experience
  • Strong organizational skills, note taking, and ability to manage multiple projects/requests simultaneously
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to gather input, develop solutions, influence outcomes and garner support from all levels of the organization and manage a complex set of stakeholders
