Position: Manager Brand Marketing and Experiences

Overview

Leading Authorities is a global events and communications firm that includes the world’s largest speakers bureau, a strategic communications agency, and a live events production company. We work with high-profile thought leaders, executives, and creatives to deliver best-in-class experiences and content for Fortune 1000 companies, major associations, nonprofits, and senior leaders around the world.

Our brand is built on trust, polish, discretion, and execution at the highest level. Every interaction—internal or external—matters.

The Opportunity

The Manager, Brand Experience & Executive Engagement is responsible for shaping and executing LAI’s most high-touch brand moments. This role owns the experience of the brand across intimate executive events, client engagements, speaker-hosted activations, and the physical office environment.

NOTE:

This is not a traditional events role and not a social media–first marketing role. It is for someone with exceptional judgment, refined taste, and relentless attention to detail—someone who understands how small moments shape perception with senior audiences.

You will work closely with leadership, sales, and marketing to design and execute curated experiences for C-suite executives, senior marketers, association leaders, and partners. Every interaction must feel intentional, personal, and flawless.

This is a marketing role for someone who thinks strategically, writes clearly, and executes with precision. Success in this role requires a strong focus on data, outcomes, and continuous optimization. You should be comfortable using analytics to shape strategy, report on performance, and connect brand efforts directly to business results.

Responsibilities Executive & Client Brand Experiences (Primary Focus | ~60%)
  • Design and execute intimate, high-touch brand experiences (typically 20–40 guests) including executive dinners, hosted conversations, and speaker-led engagements.
  • Own the end-to-end experience for each engagement—from guest strategy and personalization through on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
  • Partner closely with leadership and sales to curate guest lists, manage outreach strategy, and align each experience to specific relationship and revenue goals.
  • Deliver white-glove execution across all logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, speaker handling, seating strategy, dietary preferences, run-of-show development, lighting, sound, décor, printed materials, and on-site flow.
  • Anticipate details others overlook—from table settings and paper stock to background noise, room dynamics, and service timing.
  • Establish clear goals and KPIs for each engagement; track and report outcomes tied to brand perception, relationship development, and downstream sales activity.
  • Use Hub Spot and Microsoft Dynamics to manage guest data, track engagement history, and ensure continuity across events and relationships.
  • Represent LAI at select partner and industry events, serving as a polished and professional brand ambassador.
Brand Presence & Social Support (~30%)
  • Support brand storytelling across social channels, particularly around live events and executive engagements.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing team members responsible for social execution; step in hands-on when events require real-time or on-site content.
  • Ensure all content reflects LAI’s premium brand positioning and speaks to a professional, senior-level audience.
Office & Internal Brand Experience (~10%)
  • Own the physical brand experience within LAI’s Washington, DC office.
  • Manage signage, welcome materials, meeting room presentation, and client-facing touchpoints to ensure a consistently polished, high-end experience.
  • Play a key role in shaping the client experience as LAI transitions into its new office space, supporting increased in-office hosting and entertaining.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in brand experience, executive engagement, client experience, or high-touch events roles.
  • Proven success executing intimate, high-standards experiences for senior-level audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through—nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Strong written communication skills with a polished, professional tone.
  • Comfort working closely with senior leadership and navigating direct feedback.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Hub Spot, Microsoft Dynamics preferred).

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Benefits
  • Competitive base salary and incentive compensation
  • 401(K) with profit sharing
  • Paid vacation and holidays
  • Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance
