About the role
The Director, Enterprise Communications & Marketing leads PRR’s firm-wide internal communications and marketing efforts, shaping and executing the agency’s internal narrative and brand presence, ensuring employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the PRR’s strategy, values and growth priorities. The role also leads the agency’s marketing efforts – strengthening brand positioning, supporting new business and elevating PRR’s reputation in the marketplace.
The role is accountable for communicating PRR’s strategy, structure and growth priorities into clear, coordinated communications that support culture, performance, new business and talent attraction. The Director operates as a strategic partner to executive leadership and division and service area leaders.
What you ll doInternal Communications & Employee Engagement
- Develop and lead a comprehensive internal communications strategy that reinforces agency vision, culture, and strategic priorities.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on change management communications, organizational updates and sensitive issues.
- Manage, own and/or support internal channels (intranet, town halls, Huddle, Management Team meetings, Virtual Kitchen, newsletters [PRR Pulse], leadership updates, Five in Motion, etc.) to ensure clarity, cadence, and engagement.
- Manage content calendar, including staff and enterprise stories, including highlighting agency work.
- Translate business strategy, financial performance, and organizational changes into clear, compelling messaging for employees at all levels.
- Partner with HR on communications related to talent, engagement, culture initiatives, DEI, learning and development, and organization change.
- Measure internal engagement and effectiveness, using insights to continuously improve communications.
Agency Marketing & Branding
- Lead the agency’s marketing strategy to strengthen brand positioning and differentiation in the marketplace.
- Oversee development of marketing materials including website content, thought leadership positioning and materials, case studies, credentials, awards submissions, and social presence.
- Partner with the growth/new business leadership team to support pitches, proposals, and new business communications.
- Ensure consistent brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all touchpoints.
- Identify and activate opportunities to showcase the agency’s expertise through content, speaking opportunities, awards and owned channels.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and mentor internal communications and marketing team members and/or agency colleagues
- Act as a connective leader across the enterprise/agency to surface stories, successes, and insights worth sharing internally and externally.
- Establish processes and governance to ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment across communications and marketing efforts.
- Stay ahead of trends in employee communications, agency marketing, and brand storytelling.
- Pulse survey to determine employee understanding of strategy and communications
- Leadership message clarity via post agency meetings
- Internal channel engagement via open rates, attendance, intranet usage, etc.
- Qualitative feedback from leadership and HR

- 10+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or PR, with experience in an agency or professional services environment strong preferred.
- Proven leadership in internal communications, employee engagement, and brand marketing.
- Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on execution skills.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and presentation abilities.
- Experience advising senior executives and navigating change communications.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple colleagues and stakeholders.
