What You Will DoLets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will provide strategic input into the development of business cases and development programs in order to make a meaningful impact to people living with obesity and obesity-related conditions. Through deep understanding of customers and treatment paradigms, alongside a diverse cross-functional team from early development through launch, you will develop brand commercial approaches to maximize impact at launch.
- Leading the design of key strategies, programs and plans that will support the commercialization of the obesity portfolio for obesity cardiovascular related priorities and initiatives
- Developing deep customer understanding and building comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Leading cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key initiatives and opportunities for the brand and drive their successful execution
- Lead and facilitate key strategic workshops leading to launch and commercialization
- Develop and implement strategic frameworks to drive key decisions and actions
- Act as central point to identify and resolve critical milestones to ensure flawless launch execution
- Foster ongoing insights development by partnering internally and externally and using this to drive critical strategic choices for the brand
- Support the execution of launch and commercialization activities, focusing on global and priority markets
- Monitoring and analyzing market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform and adjust the strategy as needed
- Representing the company at industry events and conferences and build relationships with key opinion leaders and other external partners
- Collaborating with key partners, including senior leadership, to ensure alignment and support for the brand
- Facilitating quality and timely cross regional product specific knowledge and best practice sharing

Basic QualificationsDoctorate degree and 4 years of commercial experience
OR
Masters degree and 7 years of commercial experience
OR
Bachelors degree and 9 years of commercial experience
- 8+ years of experience and a track record of success in a series of commercial (or an associated function) roles of increasing scope, scale and complexity, with leading companies in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- A best-in-class marketer with experience developing and implementing innovative global marketing and commercial strategies for pipeline products, successfully launching therapeutic products and repositioning products to increase commercial value.
- Strong experience in marketplaces with cardiovascular customer bases. Keen understanding of the science, market trends, and future opportunities and hurdles.
- Strong experience in beyond the molecule value drivers.
- Prior experience in a tactical, line marketing role, implementing marketing strategies in local markets. Solid understanding of global market access, pricing and reimbursement issues.
