Overview

Labor and Custodial Branch. Seeking a reliable Baling Machine Operator to sort materials by recyclable grades and operate baling machines with capacities of one half to one ton bales. Use a forklift and/or crane to move completed bales from baling machines and place bales on flatbed trucks for transport.

• Sort materials by recyclable grades.
• Operate baling machines with capacities of one half to one ton bales.
• Use a forklift and/or crane to move completed bales from baling machines to transport or staging areas.
• Place bales on flatbed trucks for transport.

• You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.
• Screen out: ability to do the work of a Baling Machine Operator without more than normal supervision.
• Experience in sorting materials by recyclable grades.
• Experience operating baling machines with capacities of one half to one-ton bales.
• Experience using a forklift and/or crane to move completed bales and place them on flatbed trucks for transport.
• Must lift 80 pounds or more.
