Job Summary

Topa Group is partnered with a Fire Protection Integrator in Washington, DC. We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to oversee installation-based fire protection projects from kickoff through closeout. This role focuses on managing field operations, coordinating with job sites, tracking budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Projects range from $1M–$3M and include both new construction and retrofit work
.

Responsibilities
  • Manage installation-based fire sprinkler projects from pre-construction through final completion
  • Coordinate daily activities with field supervisors, contractors, inspectors, and other trades
  • Conduct regular job site walks to monitor progress, safety, and quality of installation
  • Track project budgets, labor, materials, and change orders to maintain profitability
  • Maintain organized project documentation, schedules, and reports
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the office and field teams
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications
  • Support problem-solving efforts related to scheduling, coordination, and field conditions
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Fire Sprinkler or Fire Protection Project Manager
  • Strong background in installation-based project management
  • Experience managing projects valued between $1M–$3M
  • Proven ability to stay highly organized while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong understanding of budget tracking and cost control
  • Comfortable coordinating and communicating with field and office personnel
Work Environment
  • 70% in-office / 30% field-based
  • Regular job site visits required
  • Projects include new construction and retrofit installations
Preferred Skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset
