WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Vice President, Transportation Business Leader – Washington, DC for our Transportation Business Line, responsible for our Washington, DC office.

The DC Local Area Business Leader will drive operational performance and growth while enabling WSP to be the preferred and trusted choice for clients, employees, and partners. They are the local CEO of WSP within the bounds of our Delegation of Authority promoting internal collaboration and teamwork. The Local Area Business Leader will passionately lead their business service delivery location through WSP’s strategy focused on four pillars of success:
Clients, Expertise, People & Culture, and Operational Excellence. The Local Area Business Leader is the external face of WSP in that local area and may bring District or National Leaders to support growing the business to meet annual tactical and long‑term strategic objectives. Of equal significance, the Local Area Business Leader has full accountability for operational performance, mastering internal dynamics of the business to ensure that deployment of resources advances business objectives.

This is a strategic leadership role in the Mid‑Atlantic Region as we continue to strengthen and expand our civil, structural, transit & rail and overall engineering services across DC. The LBL role also leads cross‑collaboration with other WSP business‑lines such as Earth & Environment, Power/Energy, Property and Buildings, Water, Federal, Advisory Services, and Construction Management to bring value to our clients.
