12012] – Full-time, Exempt contingent/contract role with potential to convert to full-time W-2.
Location:
Washington, DC area (on-site with client). The Pro Sidian team provides management and operations consulting services across risk, compliance, business process, IT effectiveness, engineering, environmental, sustainability, and human capital. Our engagements span public and private sectors, including defense and civilian government, with a solution-centric focus on growth, margin, and efficiency.
Engagements involve supporting USCG CG-PSC mission modernization with change management, analytics, and portfolio governance. This role supports defense and security sector clients and may be performed as a contract contingent or W-2 arrangement.
Job Overview
Provide services and support as a Senior Business Consultant in the Defense and Security industry focusing on risk management solutions for clients such as the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) – Personnel Service Center (CG-PSC) and PSC-BOPS. Work locations are generally in Washington, DC and across the Mid-Atlantic region, on-site with client teams. This role emphasizes organizational transformation, strategic execution, and mission-support modernization to achieve adoption, alignment, performance improvement, and decision quality.
Responsibilitiesand Duties
- Lead organizational change management (OCM) programs: stakeholder analysis, change impacts, training/enablement, and adoption measurement.
- Develop performance measurement frameworks (KPIs/OKRs), dashboards, and reporting routines for leadership.
- Assess internal controls and compliance impacts; coordinate with finance/controls stakeholders as needed.
- Integrate solutions across multiple systems (process + data + tooling) and define requirements for improvements.
- Prepare executive-level briefings translating analysis into decisions and actions.
- Provide coaching to leaders and teams on performance management, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Education / Experience
Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or related field AND PMP/DHS mid-level PM/Six Sigma MBB (or equivalent); 7 years or 5 years with a Master's or higher.
Skills Required
Primarily focused on management and financial consulting, acquisition and grants management, and business program/project management services aligned with program support activities for Change Management & Performance Management.
- OCM: impact analysis, readiness, adoption planning, training/communications support
- Design and lead performance measurement frameworks; benefits/ROI tracking where applicable
