Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Director of Client Intake Operations for a rapidly growing, mission-driven healthcare services organization. This is a full-time, onsite leadership opportunity based in Washington DC or Charlotte, North Carolina.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Client Intake Operations will provide strategic oversight of the full client intake lifecycle across multiple service locations. This leadership role focuses on scaling operations, improving workflows, and ensuring an efficient, high-quality onboarding experience for clients and families. The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership, a service-first mindset, and the ability to manage high inquiry volumes while partnering cross-functionally with billing, authorizations, and clinical teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and optimize the organization-wide client intake process across multiple locations
  • Manage intake volume, workflow distribution, and system consistency
  • Partner closely with billing, authorization, and clinical leadership teams
  • Develop, document, and improve SOPs, workflows, and intake processes
  • Train, mentor, and coach staff on communication and customer service standards
  • Track and analyze intake performance metrics to support data-driven improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Leadership experience overseeing high-volume intake or access operations
  • Proven success improving workflows and operational processes
  • Strong background in customer service training and team development
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or related service environments preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and call-tracking or phone platforms
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position offers a competitive compensation range of $100,000 - $130,000 aligned with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits program designed to support employee well-being and long-term growth.
