Security Clearance

Security Clearance: Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD)
SECRET security clearance.

Responsibilities

Project Managers show proficient skills associated with the labor category, perform complex tasks independently, and complete assigned tasks on time and to a standard that is satisfactory or better. Provide guidance and oversight to contractors at the junior and mid-experience levels.

  • Support the prime contractor program manager, government stakeholders with the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives which have great significance to the activities and agency’s needs.
  • Assist with the overall program definition, organization, and direction of short- and long-range plans. This includes formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; and defining and negotiating with activity and agency personnel for necessary resources.
  • Establish and control technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs as essential tasks for the Program Manager.
  • Provide program and operations support across acquisition, communication, and leadership initiatives.
Experience
  • 10 years of experience supporting NAVSEA programs.
  • Experience with Navy programs with small combatants.
  • Experience supervising medium to large teams is a plus.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, business or related field or relevant direct military experience in lieu of degree
