- You will develop and implement financial management plans and programs to facilitate the effective, efficient, and timely application of financial resources aligned to the organization's mission.
- You will recommend and implement new and revised financial management concepts, procedures, and strategies to support the organization's programs.
- You will ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of all accounting, budgetary, financial management and audit-related reports.
- You will manage the budget planning and execution process by analyzing program requirements, recommending fund allocations, and developing detailed budget exhibits and justifications.
- You will develop and implement solutions for highly complex financial problems, ensuring project goals are met within established timelines.
- You will effectively supervise the IPO-820 staff to include establishing annual performance objectives and completing performance reviews in accordance with the organization's employee appraisal system. Requirements Conditions of employment

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This is a Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed time frames. SCW level required: FOUNDATIONAL Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: - Applying principles of Department of Defense acquisition programs, regulations, and directives.
- Utilizing automated systems tools for development of new methods and techniques to perform analysis and review of finance, budget, and accounting data.
- Interpreting and assessing the impact of new and revised congressional legislation on budget execution.
