You Are

Versar is seeking Site Managers with knowledge and experience to support Versar Global Solutions’ team performance on assigned United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Recurring Maintenance and Minor Repair (RMMR) task orders. This position performs site maintenance tasks related to fuel systems, such as identifying and troubleshooting fuel system discrepancies, minor construction activities, preventative and corrective maintenance, and repair projects.

The individual will serve under the direction of the RMMR Site Manager with duties that include performing all phases of work; working with several subcontractors or support staff; ensuring compliance with all applicable construction codes, standards, and local regulations; ensuring on-site quality control and safety requirements are met; and responsible for all onsite and contractor-controlled documentation.

What You’ll Do
  • Overall supervision of fuel system RMMR operations for a prescribed geographic area under contract with USACE.
  • Oversee daily operations of the fuel facilities to ensure requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS) are met.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate fuel maintenance site activities to optimize resources and facilities to meet PWS specifications.
  • Interface with operational activities at various locations to maintain communications regarding upcoming deployments, exercises, logistical maneuvers, and other activities to ensure contractual requirements are met.
  • Prepare, update, and submit internal and external reports, including schedules, deficiency lists, recurring maintenance reports, and other documents required by LBS and USACE contract deliverables.
  • Develop technical scopes of work for repair and modification service orders for DoD fuel facilities, ensuring compliance with UFC 3-460-01, API 650, and applicable UFGS.
  • Review repair specifications of equipment or components, procure materials, and develop service order cost estimates, logistics, and construction schedules.
  • Supervise and train fuel system maintenance personnel, ensuring qualifications, safety training, and certification are maintained.
  • Maintain accurate records of time worked, submit to LBS payroll, and perform all supervisory functions to manage the workforce effectively.
  • Perform all other duties as prescribed by management.
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in liquid fuels maintenance or construction on various fuel systems, with at least three (3) years of site or construction management experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and field reporting systems.
  • Knowledge of Quick Base, eMaint, Maintain

    X, Timberland, or similar software.
  • OSHA 30 and/or HAZWOPER training preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Experience with equipment operation, power tools, mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Fluent English reading and writing skills.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings (background check, MVR, drug screen).
  • Compliance with company drug and alcohol policy.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. or obtainable at start date.
