this is a full‑time position, minimum 40‑50 hours per week, also must be available to be on‑call. This position truly only works if this is your only professional commitment.
position summaryan orange theory fitness assistant studio manager is responsible for managing studio operations and activities and works with their studio manager to develop and build the member community at the studio. As an assistant studio manager you will provide leadership and daily direction to the sales and group personal training teams in our facility. As the lead for the sales function, the asm must execute a lead generation and marketing plan to increase fitness program sales as well as promote the health and wellness benefits associated with a healthy lifestyle.
This leader must possess a high‑caliber approach to coaching and team development. The assistant studio manager will represent the company by living an active and healthy lifestyle and is responsible for the smooth running of their studio.
mandatory retail hospitality or health + fitness management and sales experience, including personnel management experience. Part of the job requirements is meeting or exceeding monthly sales and revenue goals.
responsibilities- hire staff and develop the front desk team of sales associates.
- provide high‑level customer service and exceptional hospitality to otf patrons; handle member issues and concerns in a positive and timely manner.
- maintain otf brand’s distinct culture and community.
- implement and enforce standard operating policies and procedures designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
- assist in managing the studio budget, supply ordering, and staff scheduling.
- train hired staff members to enable them to independently carry out their duties; become well‑versed in otf methods, mindbody, and wheniwork.
- ensure all front desk systems are followed: proper member check‑in, telephone inquiries and prospecting, guest registration, delinquent account procedures, customer care calls, change requests, and document scanning.
- provide effective decision‑making regarding customer service issues.
- plan and promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis using otf tools for outreach and community involvement.
- ensure the facility is clean, maintained, and operationally sound.
- stay on top of the staff schedule daily and make sure that every shift is covered by the team or the asm.
