Assistant Project Manager Tasks:

* Work hand in hand with the Project Manager and provide the necessary support required for overall project goals

* Oversee and implement document control for the projects including RFI's, submittals, updating current drawing sets, permit applications, and as-builts.

* Responsible for obtaining and placing purchase order agreements with various suppliers and subcontractors

* Management of the project equipment release and delivery process

* Maintaining project change order logs

* Assist the project manager with cost estimating and change management controls

* Interface and attend meetings with general contractors and clients

* Developing positive relationships with clients, owners, subcontractors and suppliers

* Oversee the project closeout documentation process and procedures

* Working collaboratively with the entire project team

* Ability to work with multiple disciplines and departments

* Optimistic outlook and positive attitude with ultimate goal of providing the best interactions possible for our clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Some construction experience preferred, but not required

* Familiarity with reading blueprints and MEP drawings

* Experience with MS Suite and Bluebeam REVU
