JP Logistics & Consulting LLC (JPLC) is looking for a full time Lead Material Coordinator to support the logistics support services for the Facilities Operations and Services Division/ Reservation Logistics Services Branch (Dock Master Office and Property Management) of the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) and for the Office of the Secretary of Defense Joint Staff and Liaison Office.

The Lead Material Coordinator has the responsibility to manage all project activities, action items, and general function of the project.
Duties- Supervise and provide direction to Material Coordinators, ensuring efficient and compliant execution of all assigned logistics and material handling activities.
- Provide oversight of contract personnel engaged in ramp and warehouse operations, including but not limited to shipping, receiving, delivery, staging, storage, and inventory of Government-owned property.
- Assign, prioritize, and monitor daily workload to ensure timely and accurate completion of all material coordination tasks.
- Ensure all property management actions comply with applicable regulations, contract requirements, and Government accountability standards.
- Verify that custodians receive updated copies of hand receipts or change documents, including DD Form 1150, to maintain accurate and current accountability records.
- Assist with resolving discrepancies or issues related to property, documentation, inventory, or movement control.
- Coordinate with Government representatives and internal leadership to support mission requirements and operational objectives.
- Seven (7) years of industry experience in facility or logistics support services.
- Experience on at least one (1) project of similar size, scope, and complexity as described in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license from a state of the United States.
- Active Material handling equipment (MHE) certified.
- Active OSHA certified.
- Active Forklift certified.
- Obtain and maintain Common access card (CAC).

The non-exempt job classification is covered under The McNamara-O'Hara Service Contract Act (SCA). Service employees are compensated per the prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits that are set by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Wage and Hour Division's WDs 29 CFR Part 541 and 29 CFR 4.163(f), unless otherwise modified by a CBA between labor and management.
