Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

Overview

Our client, a leader in facilities management within the logistics and distribution industry, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting multiple manual sortation sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Manage the selection, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of material-handling and facility-maintenance vendors.
• Collaborate closely with local facility management and district staff to ensure system uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs of material-handling systems in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Monitor vendor performance through audits, evaluations, and property assessments, taking corrective actions when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of facility and material handling activities, ensuring compliance with company standards.

• High School Diploma or GED;
  Associates degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or maintenance engineering technology or business administration preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or related fields.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all management levels.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design, troubleshooting, and repair practices related to power transmission and conveyor systems.
