This position provides preventive cleaning services for Federal Agency in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. The role requires accountability in behaving according to divisional and organizational RISE values and expectations.

Work hours: 10pm-6:30am

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, buff, wax, strip, and burnish floors.
• Dust lights, furniture, and surfaces; vacuum carpets; empty trash; spot clean walls and windows.
• Mix basic cleaning solutions.

• Maintain and assess equipment and floors for service needs.
• Notify supervisor of repairs needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as scrubbers and extractors.

• Minimum six months of floor care experience (buffing, waxing, stripping).
• Ability to follow instructions and understand safety signs.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Covid-19 vaccination as required by federal contract.

• One year or more of floor care and custodial experience.
• Cleaning management or floor care certification.
