The Multi-Purpose General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms/meeting spaces/public areas, plumbing, painting, responding to guest requests, and other miscellaneous work. This person will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.

The hourly rate for this position is $36.72.

• A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is strongly preferred, with hotel experience preferred
• Experience maintaining equipment, painting, and plumbing is preferred
• Good customer service and communication skills are required
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools is required
• Must have availability to work a flexible schedule
• Ability to work without direct supervision
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight of about 50 pounds
• Must be a team player but able to work independently as well
