DutiesRepresent clients in all stages of civil litigation
Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
Conduct depositions, discovery, and legal research
Appear in court for hearings, conferences, and trials
Advise clients on litigation strategy and risk management
Collaborate with team members on case development and resolution
RequirementsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in Washington, DC (or eligible for admission)
Previous litigation experience preferred
Strong legal writing and research abilities
Comfortable handling a litigation caseload independently
EducationJ.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school
CertificationsBar admission in Washington, DC or eligibility for reciprocity
SkillsEffective courtroom presence and oral advocacy
Proficient in legal research tools and litigation software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases
Client-focused and professional demeanor
