Regional Law Firm | Maryland Office

A well-established regional law firm with an office in Maryland is seeking a Business & Financial Transactions Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its growing corporate practice. This position offers immediate responsibility, hands-on deal experience, and direct collaboration with Shareholders and attorneys across the firm.

• Advise clients on legal and regulatory issues related to corporate and transactional matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents
• Manage due diligence and coordinate transaction closings
• Work directly with clients, investors, and opposing counsel
• Assist with structuring transactions and developing deal strategy
• Counsel startup and emerging growth companies throughout their lifecycle

• 3+ years of experience representing clients in business transactions, including M&A, private equity, venture capital, and finance
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills
• Comfortable in a client-facing role with increasing responsibility
• Maryland Bar admission required (or willingness to obtain)
• DC and Virginia Bar admission a plus
