Overview
Litigation Paralegal (In-Office, Full-Time)
Location: Washington, DC
Schedule: In-office, 5 days per week
Start Date: Immediate (January start preferred)
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a full-time, in-office opportunity in Washington, DC. This role is available immediately and interviews will be conducted right away. Coverage is needed this week.
This position supports attorneys and litigation teams by providing comprehensive legal and trial support. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation, development, and litigation of cases
- Perform cite-checking and Bluebook work
- Support trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and case files
- Conduct legal research and analyze legislative, administrative, and judicial materials
- Review and evaluate case files for litigation worthiness
- Gather, organize, and analyze data from various record-keeping systems
- Interview and prepare witnesses for court appearances
- Prepare charts, graphs, and summaries to support litigation strategy
- Work closely with attorneys throughout the lifecycle of cases
- Maintain custody and organization of legal documents and exhibits
- May appear in court as a witness regarding prepared exhibits, as needed
