Role Overview
We are engaging a Contract Litigation Attorney for select civil matters where compensation is directly tied to winning outcomes. This role replaces hourly billing with aligned incentives, offering shared participation in recovery, settlement, or awarded value. The focus is results, judgment, and strategic advocacy.
Engagement StructureThis is a contract, case-by-case role. Compensation structures may include contingency-based recovery sharing, hybrid arrangements combining reduced fees with success-based upside, or pro bono foundations with participation in the winning outcome. All terms are defined per matter and documented in writing in compliance with applicable ethical rules.
Key Responsibilities- The attorney will evaluate claims, jurisdiction, and litigation strategy; draft pleadings, motions, and briefs; manage discovery, hearings, negotiations, and trial preparation; and advise on leverage, remedies, and settlement posture throughout the lifecycle of each case.
- Candidate must hold a JD from an accredited law school.
- Active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Minimum of three years of litigation experience.
- Strong legal writing, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in civil litigation, disputes involving institutional or corporate defendants, administrative appeals, civil rights or disability law, contract and tort matters, and platform or governance-related cases is particularly relevant.
