This Washington, DC law firm is seeking a temporary Litigation Legal Secretary to provide high-level support to attorneys and leadership across active litigation practice groups. This role is ideal for a polished legal professional with three-to-five years of litigation experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping complex matters running smoothly. Key Responsibilities- Maintain and organize client files, correspondence, pleadings, and internal documentation with accuracy and discretion.
- Track deadlines, assignments, and follow-ups to ensure matters move forward efficiently.
- Serve as a key liaison among attorneys, clients, and internal staff by coordinating meetings, calls, and communications.
- Manage high-volume calendars and coordinate travel arrangements as needed.
- Support attorney billing and time entry; prepare expense reports, mailings, and other administrative requests.
- Assist with light legal research and compile findings into clear, concise summaries when requested.

- Fully onsite temporary role (approximately six weeks) in Washington, DC.
- Litigation-savvy. You bring 3–5 years of experience supporting attorneys in a law firm setting, ideally within litigation.
- Tech confident. You are confident using Microsoft Office, and document management systems in a deadline-driven environment.
- Polished communicator. You interact professionally and confidently with attorneys, clients, and colleagues at all levels.
- Trusted and discreet. You exercise sound judgment and handle confidential information with care.
- Proactive. You stay ahead of deadlines, anticipate needs, and take pride in keeping workflows organized and on track.
