Deputy General Counsel

LHH Recruitment in partnership with a non-profit in Washington, DC is seeking an Interim Deputy General Counsel. This role is hybrid and it is full-time. This is a 3-6 month contract position that has the opportunity to go Permanent.

• Assists with supporting the legal leadership team
• Focus on compliance and regulatory matters
• Engage with politically affiliated entitites
• Assist with drafting, reviewing and negotiating Super PAC and PAC related contracts
• Any other duties required of the role

• JD and licensed to practice in DC
• Must have experience in the non profit sector
• Ability to work onsite in DC 2-3x a week
• Strong C3 and C4 compliance experience
• Experience with Super PAC and PAC related contracts
• Knowledge of privacy and IP issues
• Excellent leadership skills
