Salary: $150,000 - $250,000 per year

An Am Law 100 firm is looking for a mid‑level associate with 3+ years of experience in life sciences or pharmaceutical patent litigation, including Hatch‑Waxman disputes, to join its award‑winning intellectual property practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Handle pharmaceutical patent litigation, including Hatch‑Waxman cases and related disputes.
• Provide strategic counseling on intellectual property and patent portfolio management.
• Conduct and oversee legal research, discovery, and brief drafting in complex IP matters.
• Collaborate with partners and cross‑disciplinary teams in multiple jurisdictions.
• Engage in trial preparation, client strategy sessions, and settlement negotiations.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in patent litigation, particularly in pharmaceutical or life sciences disputes.
• Undergraduate degree in biology, chemistry, pharmacology, or a related field.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Admission to a U.S. state bar required.
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team on high‑stakes, complex matters.
