Seeking a mid-level litigation paralegal with 3-7 years of experience within a large firm or specialized litigation boutiques, handling complex litigation, investigations, and arbitration matters.
Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate preferred. - Experience:
At least 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in an Amlaw 100 firm or specialized litigation/dispute resolution firm. - Expertise in all litigation stages, including e-discovery tools, e-filing, and trial preparation.
- Experience with trial or arbitration proceedings preferred.
- Skills:
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication. - Effective multitasking and ownership of tasks with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of cite-checking, Bluebook rules, and California Style Manual (preferred).
- Other:
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and commit to overtime or travel as needed.
- Manage all aspects of litigation case management, including document organization, case calendaring, discovery, and trial preparation.
- Collaborate with attorneys and senior paralegals; oversee junior paralegals or support staff as needed.
- Coordinate with courts, government entities, expert witnesses, vendors, and other law firms.
- Draft, review, and analyze legal documents; conduct legal research under attorney supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional discretion regarding sensitive firm and client information.
- Continuously develop skills to adapt to changes in the legal profession.
