The Associate attorney will manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, providing strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions. This role requires exceptional research, drafting, and litigation skills, along with the ability to collaborate closely with partners and clients in a fast‑paced environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates independence, strong communication, and a commitment to meeting a 1,950‑hour annual billable requirement.
PrimaryJob Duties
- File review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action
- Extensive legal research and drafting of substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs
- Regularly representing clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositions
- Drafting and responding to discovery requests
- Expert witness retention and collaboration
- Trial preparation and attendance
- Collaborate closely with partners, clients, and stakeholders to deliver strategic and practical legal advice
- Manage deadlines and assignments with a high level of ownership and independence
- Annual billable amount of 1,950 hours required
- Communicating – clear, concise, direct, and unambiguous communication; ensuring receivers understand specifics and function of the message.
- Conflict Management – addressing problems openly and objectively; resolving issues constructively.
- Professionalism – setting high standards; serving as a role model; maintaining ethical conduct and respect.
- Planning & Priority Setting – identifying priorities, developing detailed action plans with objectives, accountabilities, time frames, and contingencies.

- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state posted (required); additional bar admissions a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a practice group
- Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Professional demeanor with strong client‑relations and communication skills
- Must be responsive and organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Salary: $85,000 - $150,000
