Finance Attorney

An AmLaw 100 is seeking an associate to join its Debt Finance practice in its Washington, D.C. or Reston, VA office. The ideal candidate will have experience representing lenders, borrowers and/or private equity sponsors and knowledge of secured lending transactions.

• Recognized by The Legal 500 USA, ranked by Chambers and Partners USA, and among the top 3 firms in advising issuers on convertible notes
• Opportunity to join and contribute to a sophisticated, national practice in a collaborative environment
• Competitive salary ($225,000–$365,000) and benefits package

• Drafting documents and issues lists for secured lending transactions and managing closings
• Knowledge of Article 9 of the UCC
• Acquisition financing (including commitment letters) and debt securities offerings (including high‑yield and/or convertible notes)
• General corporate law work

• 1–5 years of experience, preferably at a large law firm
• Ability to work on multiple, diverse projects simultaneously and produce work that reflects attention to detail
• Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience ($225,000–$365,000)
