Overview

Clark Hill PLC is seeking an associate attorney with 3-4 years of experience for its Immigration business unit. This position is open in our Washington D.C. office. Ideal candidates will have strong employment-based immigration experience including H-1

Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, E’s, O-1s, L-1s, and TN’s along with a willingness to work on all types of business immigration matters.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and support employment-based petitions from intake through filing, assess visa options, assign and track cases, draft legal arguments, and conduct regular status calls with clients.
  • Help Members and Senior Attorneys manage various clients and the internal teams organized to support the clients’ immigration needs.
  • Manage client work including liaising with client contacts and responsibility for managing the clients’ immigration matters internally.
  • Supervise junior associates, paralegals, and other support staff; demonstrate strong advocacy, research, and writing skills; maintain high attention to detail; take initiative; stay organized; multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Experience with employment-based immigration matters (H-1

    Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, E’s, O-1s, L-1s, TNs).
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to liaise with clients and internal teams.
  • Experience supervising junior associates, paralegals, and other support staff.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position at the time of posting is $100,000 - $115,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, Clark Hill offers health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
