Hylton-Rodic Law is seeking an Associate Patent Attorney (registered) with 3-5 years of experience in biotech or life sciences patent law. We’re a boutique law firm that focuses on innovative solutions and collaborative success—all while ensuring our team enjoys the work-life balance that’s often lost in larger firms.

Our ideal candidate has a Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related field and is ready to apply their expertise in an environment that celebrates creativity, strategy, and collaboration.

Requirements

What’s You’ll Do:

• Prepare and prosecute high-value patent applications for cutting-edge biotech and life sciences companies.

• Build and manage global patent portfolios that shape the future of technology and innovation.

• Conduct thorough due diligence and patent landscape analyses.

• Provide insightful patent opinions that guide clients toward success.

Competitive Compensation

At Hylton-Rodic Law, we offer a base salary ranging from $175,000 to $230,000 depending on experience and qualifications, with performance-based bonuses that allow for total compensation to exceed $300,000 for high performers. While we may not match the base salaries of Big Law, we provide greater work-life balance, flexible schedules, and the potential for professional growth that is often limited in larger firms.

Our compensation package is designed to reward individual contributions and firm success, giving you the chance to earn based on both your personal performance and the firm’s growth.
