A well-known Medical Malpractice/Personal Injury D.C. law firm is in search of a seasoned Senior Legal Assistant with at least 5 to 7 years of experience working for a senior partner plaintiff attorney. During the initial period of hire, the work schedule will be full time with a transfer to a hybrid work schedule as experience in the role grows. Salary will be dependent on experience.

Status: Direct Hire

Salary: Up to $80K DOE

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The fast-paced position requires the use of software systems and databases to monitor deadlines and ensure the timely filing of all legal documents.
• Preparing legal documents
• Court filings
• Maintaining client files

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 to 7 years of experience working for a senior partner plaintiff attorney
• Previous experience in medical malpractice/ personal injury litigation is required.
• The successful candidate will be part of a small team working side by side with partner and associate attorneys.
• Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, organized and work well with others
• Collaborative and reliable, able to work effectively as part of a team
• Positive and results-focused, contributing to the success of the legal team.
