ASL Educational Interpreter

ASL Staff Interpreter – Washington, D.C.

Context Global, Inc. is seeking a full‑time ASL staff interpreter in the Washington D.C. area. The role supports school systems by providing ASL interpreting support for deaf and hard‑of‑hearing students in the K‑12 setting.

A successful candidate will be assigned to a school for the duration of a school year or as needed and provide ASL support to students using ASL as their mode of communication.

• Completion of an Interpreter Training Program or at least three years of experience as a sign language interpreter.
• Preference for graduates of an accredited interpreter training program.
• Certification is not required, but EIPA and NIC Certification will be preferred.

The interview and screening will be conducted in ASL and spoken English.
