Ibility is seeking an experienced Senior Momentum Testing Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the implementation of Momentum for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience supporting Momentum testing and implementation activities in large ERP programs for a federal agency as well as a strong foundation in Federal financial management business processes.
The Senior Momentum Testing SME will support the Testing Lead and the program by developing test plans and executing testing activities for an implementation release as part of the overall program. This will include, but not limited to system integration testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The SME will develop wave-level updates to testing strategy based on lessons learned and the evolution of requirements and oversee the development of automated test scripts across all functional teams.
The SME will provide guidance on federal compliance test requirements (e.g. Section 508, Security, Performance) and validate cross-module financial flows (e.g. AR/AP/GL/Acquisitions). The Senior Momentum Testing SME should be a self-starter who can work independently and as a part of a team, has experience in taking ownership of work assignments and project schedules.
Primary Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Wave Testing Lead and government client in planning, training, and testing of functional components of the financial system and coordinate with other vendors on testing to adjudicate, resolve, and close issues; provide executive level advice and guidance on overall testing strategy, planning, and execution
- Review and update existing testing plan for new requirements and interfaces for each wave implementation release including ensuring adherence to federal compliance testing requirements
- Advise and mentor junior test team members with test plan development, script development and validation, and overall testing execution
- Develop and execute test scripts including a minimum of 50% automated test scripts to validate flow of cross-module financial flows and document results, identify issues and defects, and prepare testing summary reports
- Link test cases to Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) ensuring 100% requirements traceability
- Maintain and prioritize a testing defect log that will be shared with the government client and other vendors to track testing progress
- Prepare materials and support facilitation of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) training
- Master’s degree and 10 years of experience (or Bachelor’s Degree and 14 years of experience) in Federal financial management, including 8 years of related experience executing test scripts, documenting test results, and identifying issues
- Demonstrated expertise of federal financial business processes, testing strategies and methodologies, and compliance requirements
- Minimum 6 years' experience working with Momentum Financials; can be substituted with 10 years demonstrated experience working with similar large-scale ERP within a large federal agency
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and a desire to enhance those skills in a challenging, high visibility environment
- Ability to obtain a public trust clearance
- Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs
- Proficiency with Agility for requirements or testing
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, Eggplant, or Katalon
$170,000 - $190,000 a year
