Electrosoft is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to serve as the technical authority for a large-scale AWS and Snowflake data warehousing and analytics environment supporting a federal customer in Washington, D.C.
This role will lead architecture design, ensure cloud scalability and security, and guide delivery teams across complex enterprise initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead design and implementation of AWS-based data warehousing and analytics solutions
- Architect and optimize enterprise Snowflake environments
- Define cloud architecture patterns, standards, and best practices
- Translate functional and technical requirements into secure, scalable cloud designs
- Oversee integration of cloud data platforms within hybrid enterprise environments
- Ensure performance, availability, security, and compliance requirements are met
- Provide technical leadership to engineers and data teams
- Support architecture reviews, design documentation, and risk mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with program leadership and federal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
- 10+ years designing and implementing enterprise cloud solutions
- Hands-on Snowflake experience in production enterprise environments
- Experience delivering cloud-based data warehousing and analytics programs
- Demonstrated experience serving as a Solutions or Cloud Architect on complex initiatives
- Experience in PWS-driven or contract-based delivery environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- AWS Solutions Architect certification
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST, FedRAMP)
- Experience supporting cloud migration or hybrid cloud initiatives
