Overview

Get to know Okta Okta is The World's Identity Company. We free everyone to safely use any technology, anywhere, on any device or app. Our flexible and neutral products, Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform, provide secure access, authentication, and automation, placing identity at the core of business security and growth.

At Okta, we celebrate a variety of perspectives and experiences. We are not looking for someone who checks every single box - we're looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences. Join our team! We're building a world where Identity belongs to you.

Technology, Data, and Intelligence Team

Okta is the leading independent identity provider. The Technology, Data, and Intelligence (TDI) organization is the engine that powers Okta's global workforce, providing the technology and systems that enable our employees to do their best work.

The Senior Product Analyst Opportunity

Within TDI, the TDI Trust team acts as the critical bridge between enterprise-level governance and engineering execution. We ensure the internal solutions Okta relies on are secure, compliant, mature, and deliver an optimal user experience.

We are looking for a motivated and user-centric Product Analyst to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of people, process, and technology. You will not only help refine the tools our employees use every day but will also play a part in defining how we leverage custom AI solutions to drive business optimization and innovation.

What

you'll be doing
  • User Engagement & Requirements Gathering: You will act as a primary point of contact for our internal users and business stakeholders. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to deeply understand their pain points and translate their needs into clear, actionable requirements for our engineering teams.
  • Solution & Experience Optimization: Proactively engage with users of our internal platforms (like Google Workspace, Slack, and Atlassian) to identify opportunities for improvement. You will analyze workflows and champion changes that enhance productivity and the overall employee experience.
  • Process Management & Compliance: Assist with the tracking and execution of critical operational processes, such as periodic User Access Reviews (UARs) and onboarding to IGA, ensuring we balance optimization with meeting our compliance and security obligations.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including process flows in Lucidchart, requirements documents, and user guides in Confluence, ensuring our solutions are well-understood and easy to use.
  • Pioneering Internal AI Solutions: Partner with teams across Okta to identify high-impact business challenges in our federal environments that can be solved with custom AI solutions. You will assist with the discovery and requirements gathering process, defining the "what" and "why" for new AI-powered internal tools.
What you'll bring to the role
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Analyst/Manager or similar role, preferably within an IT or internal technology organization.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., FedRAMP, SOX).
  • 2+ years of experience translating raw data into actionable insights for senior leadership using reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Strong technical background and deeply knowledgeable in computing, networking, and IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with AWS and enterprise SaaS platforms such as Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Google Workspace, and Slack.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies or IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to distinguish a user s stated "want" from their underlying "need."
