About the role
? As a D365 Business Analyst, you will drive meaningful business outcomes by translating complex business needs into scalable solutions on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. You’ll play a key role in optimizing sales and customer insights, improving operational efficiency, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Partnering closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams, you’ll ensure solutions are aligned with strategic goals and deliver measurable value.
You will be a valued member of the Cloud Infrastructure and Security team and work collaboratively with the Program Director.
- Lead end-to-end business analysis and solution design using Microsoft Dynamics 365, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate requirements workshops with business stakeholders to gather, refine, and prioritize epics, features, and user stories.
- Create clear, actionable user stories and manage them through established approval processes.
- Collaborate closely with onsite and offshore technical teams to ensure shared understanding of requirements and successful delivery.
- Partner with Product Owners and Project Managers to support backlog grooming and meet sprint and release timelines.
- Define and maintain Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) for user stories.
- Conduct solution demos for stakeholders, gather feedback, and translate insights into backlog refinements.
- Maintain a healthy, prioritized product backlog using Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or Jira.
- Ensure high-quality documentation and clear communication across business and technical teams.

What you need to have to be considered:- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations.
- Strong hands-on experience with D365 Sales and Customer Insights modules, including:
Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Activities, Timelines, SLAs, Sales Insights and Copilot features. - Proven experience working with epics, features, user stories, and defect life cycles in ADO or Jira.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to educate and influence business users.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales certification
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Insights certification
- Additional relevant Microsoft certifications are an asset
- Banking or financial services experience is considered a strong asset

Salary and Other CompensationApplications will be accepted until February 2, 2026
The annual salary for this position is between $114,000 - $133,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
