Senior Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our team supporting the Department of Transportation.

• Enhance cybersecurity and identity management capabilities.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including DHS CISA integrators, to implement Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM)/Mandatory User Re‑Authentication (MUR) solutions at the Department of Transportation.
• Integrate DOT's SailPoint infrastructure with the Service Now environment and maintain the ILM solution across development, testing, and production.
• Support ILM workflows for Privileged Account Management (PAM) tools and Active Directory; build new system connections and maintain Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Dashboard integrations.
• Deploy software updates, report on SailPoint Identity
  
  IQ operations, and support identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Provide on‑call and after‑hours support, participate in annual Disaster Recovery testing, document recovery plans, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with DOT change‑management processes and enhance reporting capabilities to maintain data integrity for CDM dashboard compliance per DHS CISA requirements.
• Perform day‑to‑day technology solutions activities to meet enterprise requirements.
• Map functional requirements to technological solutions, evaluate proof‑of‑concepts and pilots, and produce written recommendations.

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience in business solutions engineering support, including architectural design, engineering design, proof‑of‑concept development, pilots, analysis, results, and documentation.
• SailPoint Certified Identity
  
  IQ Engineer certification.
• At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing integrated lifecycle management processes within an enterprise similar in scale to the Department of Transportation.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on SailPoint administration, including integration with Active Directory and HR systems.
• Hands‑on experience integrating SailPoint with Cyber Ark for privileged account management.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills for SailPoint connectors and integrations.
• Proficient in Active Directory front‑end and back‑end components (account management, Group Policy, AD schema, PKI, Power Shell scripting).
• General database knowledge with focus on SQL Server 2019, including backups, indexing, integrity checks, installation, configuration, and data modeling.

The work environment is a typical office setting with a low noise level. The employee will use hands, reach with arms, stand, walk, sit, climb or balance, and may lift up to 50 pounds.
