Opportunity Overview

CORTEK seeks a highly qualified Senior Analyst to support the Fires Development Group (FDG) as Key Personnel. This onsite position focuses on validating, prioritizing, and analyzing Army force development requirements and modernization plans for Fires capabilities. The ideal candidate will have doctrinal, operational, and technical expertise in Army Air and Missile Defense and Fire Support units, programs, and CONOPS.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Support Army modernization efforts for Fires capabilities, including Joint Theater Air and Missile Defense (JTAMD), Directed Energy Systems, Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), Short Range Air Defense (SHORAD), Long Range Artillery, Cannons, and Missiles, Strategic Fires.
  • Validate and prioritize force development requirements.
  • Analyze modernization plans and ensure feasibility within Army strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Army, Joint, and OSD staffs to develop strategic-level products.
  • Provide support for briefings, working groups, and decision forums.
  • Maintain and update leadership smart books and strategic communication materials.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Force Development or related duties.
  • Experience at senior Army levels such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands.
  • Top Secret (TS) clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Skills & Expertise
  • Interdisciplinary knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), DoD acquisition processes (DoDI 5000.2), materiel and force structure requirements development and validation (JCIDS), experience applying force development across DOTMLPF-P domains in fiscally constrained environments, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
