Membership Data & Insights Analyst
The Membership Data & Insights Analyst serves as the primary analytical resource for the Membership Services Department, transforming member data into insights that strengthen the overall membership development strategy. This role analyzes the full membership lifecycle, identifies trends and risks, builds dashboards and ensures a high level of data integrity across all membership systems.
The Analyst collaborates closely with IT, Data, and Marketing teams to integrate membership data into organizational reporting while supporting leadership with accurate, timely, and actionable intelligence. This role serves as the liaison between the membership and IT departments to manage and support member-related data initiatives.
Note:This position is considered Hybrid and will need to commute to ACOG's office located in Washington, D.C.
Duties & Responsibilities Membership Data Analysis & Insight Generation
- Analyze membership lifecycle trends, including recruitment patterns, engagement behavior, attrition and retention risk factors.
- Track and evaluate acquisition and retention performance metrics across key member segments.
- Produce data-driven insights that inform membership campaigns, product development, and member experience improvements.
- Deliver clear, actionable reports and presentations to membership leadership and cross‑functional partners.
- Identify early warning indicators for member dissatisfaction or churn and recommend interventions.
- Build, maintain, and enhance interactive dashboards that visualize member behavior and key performance indicators.
- Develop predictive models to forecast membership growth, renewal likelihood, and engagement trends.
- Monitor and improve data accuracy and integrity, including the maintenance and accuracy of member demographic information.
- Perform routine audits to identify and correct inconsistencies.
- Assist in optimizing CRM workflows related to onboarding, renewals, reporting, and segmentation.
- Support membership reporting needs across the department – monthly dashboards, ad hoc reports, leadership presentations, and Board‑level metrics.
- Produce reports that connect member data to organizational goals, including revenue, engagement, and program participation.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools – preferably Power BI.
- Experience with SQL, Excel, and data management best practices.
- Understanding of data integration workflows and API‑based system connections.
- Familiarity with predictive modeling techniques and membership lifecycle analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex data.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and curiosity.
- Collaborative mindset suited for cross‑department teamwork.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems or related field.
- 5 years in data analytics, business intelligence, or CRM/AMS data management.
- Demonstrated experience building dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI preferred) and creating predictive models.
- Experience with CRM/AMS systems (Net Forum preferred, Salesforce, iMIS, or similar).
- Understanding of membership/customer life cycle.
- Non‑profit/association experience preferred.
Salary Range $65,000—$75,000 USD
